I have just finished watching Celine Dion’s interview and you saying it’s amazing how Regine kept singing at this level after so many years, made me realize she’s relatively better off with her current singing voice, acid reflux and all. Even as a fan, i know sometimes it’s easy to lose perspective of the incredible journey our queen has made/is continuing to make - especially when comparing to her younger self/younger artists. But fact remains, shes still here and waving the flag strong and proud for her fellow 80’s and 90s divas.

I love that you pointed out how long Regine has been doing these belts. That's like more than 30 years in the industry belting non-stop and she never experienced vocal nodules. Had it not been because of her acid reflux which most probably affected her pipes, she would still be belting. That's why whenever people accuse her of having a bad technique, I simply roll my eyes knowing how she maintained her voice for a very long time even if she's belting non-stop. I believe her unorthodox technique should be studied.

People were shookt by her talent since 1984. Back in the day she was a unicorn… nobody else sounded like her and everyone trained to be just like her. She literally single- handedly made the Philippines the land of power belters.

You're good. I think they went to on phase where they tried different genres and you're right with their more recent songs they finally found their sound. If you could watch "I Feel Good" mv and "Strings" at the same time that would be awesome. Vocal wise I think their Strings and Golden Arrow Wish Bus is 😚🤌 Idunno where you are but Bini is having US (TBA) and Canada(August) concert tour. Aaaandd they're dropping a new single in July

Don't feel bad, I hear you. I actually had my eye on BINI during the time when they were close to pre-debutting. I saw the talent and I low-key supported them, but their debut song and this one weren't really my thing. You hit it that the two songs were "generic" and I wanted to see THEM. So I stopped following the group (but I still supported them) and gave it some time for them to develop themselves and mold their identity. Came back to 'Karera' and 'Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi' after a few years, and said: "THIS IS IT!!!" Now BINI fever's infected me for over 2 months now lol

i agree with u. golden arrow is a great song, but compared to their songs now, they have found their sound. it would still be fun if they do this genre again but with their own touch and sound.

So bummed that I will be missing the Las Vegas concert, but I saw in September or October she will have a Canada tour, the US tour not confirmed yet, then on November she will be in Spain. The Ember concert would also have an International tour, no confirmed countries and cities yet still in the works. My dream is for her to come to New York so I can go and see her live. 🤞
